The Afghanistan National Horticulture Development Organization (ANHDO) recently hosted a combined event to mark two significant milestones: the closing ceremony for the key staff of the AFD Project (Strengthening Horticultural Value Chain Project – 3rd Phase) and a welcoming reception for the new team members of the FCDO-funded PREVALE project (Promoting Resilient and Equitable Recovery of Agriculture and Livelihoods in Afghan Communities).
The event was attended by key members of the Board of Directors, ANHDO Director Mr. Kabir Hakimi, representatives from both the AFD and PREVALE projects, as well as ANHDO’s management and support staff. The program opened with a warm inaugural speech from Mr. Hakimi, who officially welcomed all participants and formally commenced the event.
Following this, the chairman of the ANHDO board Mr. Haji Shafiq Azizi extended a heartfelt welcome to the new team members and expressed sincere appreciation for the valuable contributions of the departing staff. Certificates of recognition were presented to Mr. Saifullah Yousafi and Hayatullah Hussainkhail to honor their dedication and service.
The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the spirit of camaraderie and shared commitment among all attendees.
